Different hazards call for different extinguishing agents, so we help you match the right type and size to your space, whether that's a single office unit or full coverage for a warehouse, kitchen, or server room.


ABC Dry Powder (Standard) Fire Extinguisher

  • Our most common extinguisher and the right choice for most general fire risks. It handles ordinary combustibles, flammable liquids, and electrical fires, which makes it the everyday standard almost anywhere. Comes standard as a 5-pound unit.
  • Best for: general use across offices, retail, and mixed-use spaces.


CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) Fire Extinguisher

  • A compressed-gas extinguisher rated BC, so it puts out flammable liquid, grease, and electrical fires without leaving residue behind. That makes it the go-to for electrical rooms and areas with sensitive equipment.
  • Best for: electrical rooms, laboratories, elevator equipment rooms, solar battery storage.


K-Class (Kitchen and Grease) Fire Extinguisher

  • Built for cooking-oil and fatty-grease fires. Its liquid agent is easier to control and far cleaner to handle than dry powder, which tends to fly everywhere and is difficult to clean up in a kitchen.
  • Best for: commercial kitchens, restaurants, food trucks, pop-up, ghost, and co-packing kitchens.


Clean Agent (Halotron and Halon) Fire Extinguisher

  • A compressed clean-agent extinguisher that smothers a fire without water or powder, so it protects electronics. It can knock down a fire without destroying a server's motherboard or damaging sensitive equipment in a clean room.
  • Best for: server rooms, data centers, laboratories, high-technology equipment rooms, electrical rooms.


D-Class (Combustible Metals) Fire Extinguisher

  • Designed for burning metals, which burn much hotter than ordinary fires and spread rapidly. Standard extinguishers are not built for these, so metal-handling operations need a dedicated D-class unit.
  • Best for: warehouses, welding stations, metal fabricators.


Lithium Battery D-Class Fire Extinguisher

  • A specialized extinguisher for lithium-battery fires, which are increasingly common as EVs and battery-powered equipment become the norm. If you own or service anything with a lithium battery, from an electric vehicle to an e-bike, this is what puts the fire out effectively
  • Best for: EVs, auto shops servicing electric vehicles, e-bikes, robotics.


Water Fire Extinguisher

  • A simple water-filled extinguisher for ordinary combustible materials like foliage and trash. It works on volume, so it comes in larger tank sizes than pressurized chemical units.
  • Best for: greenhouses, gardens, nurseries, pool equipment rooms.

Choosing the Right Size Fire Extinguisher

Every extinguisher carries a rating that tells you how much fire it can handle. A simple way to picture the "A" rating: each point is roughly the coverage of one bucket of water, so a 5A unit covers about what five buckets would, and it scales up from there.


Sizes generally run:

  • 2.5 lb: Half the size of a standard unit. We usually recommend these for vehicles, kept in the trunk where they are easy to reach and can help you save your car, and for seniors or anyone who cannot easily lift a heavier extinguisher.
  • 5 lb: The standard, and the size we recommend for most spaces. It provides proper coverage for the majority of fires.
  • 10 lb: Double the standard. Some businesses, or your local Fire Marshal, will require this larger size, and you may also need it if the materials around your space are more flammable.
  • 20 lb: For higher-hazard locations. We typically place these next to propane tanks, where you may need roughly double a 10-pound unit's capacity to put out a fire.
